'Dancing Elephants' - Dealing with loss
When I was struggling with so many aspects of my life, I lost my Dad! I was stuck and couldn't draw. Out of nowhere this idea of these two elephants came to mind. Then I remembered the beautiful story of mother elephants and the love they have for their babies. I felt like it was a way to heal,....or start healing.
'Thundering Herd' - My love for horses
I have loved horses since I was a little girl. I begged my parents many times for a horse. After my Dad retired, they started breeding horses. It was such a journey. With this piece I wanted to catch every detail and beauty of a horse and how it moves in a 'Thundering Herd'.
'Caught' - What a story
My dear friend in Arizona at the time had a pesky bobcat torturing their chickens. They also had a Catahoula that treed the bobcat. This is a drawing of their mount.
